Shain

The activities have helped him understand that there are others out there who can’t see very well.

Shain was diagnosed with Albinism at birth. He can only see confidently up to a metre and a half away, and anything further is blurry and a vague shadow.

Spencer

I want to raise money for Vista because they helps lots of visually impaired children like me.

Spencer, 9 years old, has been fundraising and spreading awareness about Vista within his school and local community.

Steve

Managing a range of services can be challenging, but the diversity of what we offer for local people is something I'm very proud of.

Steve has worked for Vista for over ten years, and now has responsibility for almost forty members of staff.

Vihan

I'd never done some of the activities before, but it's been so much fun to try new things.

Vihan, 11, was registered as partially sighted in 2014. The family frequently attend Vista's activities, which has encouraged him to take part in different hobbies.

World Glaucoma Week - Georgina and Sophie

This week is World Glaucoma Week

Meet Georgina who was born with Aniridia and developed Glaucoma as a teenager. When she became pregnant with her daughter she lost her sight completely and her daughter Sophie was also born with the same condition.

World Glaucoma Week - Sharon

Meet Sharon who was originally involved with Vista when she was a child and her eyesight started to deteriorate. At 13 years old Sharon was diagnosed with glaucoma.
