Give or raise funds in memory

Many people find comfort through giving or raising funds in memory of someone important to them, as a way of keeping their memory alive. You might choose to continue supporting Vista in someone’s memory because they supported Vista’s work during their life, or because Vista supported them.
• Donating in memory can be a special way to remember someone on important dates – like their birthday, or an anniversary.
• You may wish to request donations from people attending your loved one’s funeral, instead of floral tributes, or make a collection at a memorial service or event held to celebrate their life.
• Many people choose to raise funds through other fundraising activities, and some opt to set up a Remembrance Page in their loved one’s memory.
Supporting in memory of someone important to you also enables Vista to continue our life-changing work, supporting people of all ages affected by sight loss in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
The sections below contain more information about the different ways you can support Vista’s work in memory of someone whose life had a lasting impact on yours. Or contact our fundraising team with any questions on 0116 249 8801 or email fundraising@vistablind.org.uk.
