Café Meet Up - Leicester City Centre
Come and meet with others who have been affected by sight loss for a chat at Chapel Café on Bishops Street, Leicester City Centre.
We’ve got a small area booked on the ground floor so Vista members can meet, buy a tea or coffee and have a chat.
This session is hosted by Vanisha who will make introductions and make everyone welcome, whether you know others already or not. You are welcome to come to all or some of the session. Please book below or by calling Vanisha on 07715078811 so we know who’s coming in advance.

Getting to the Cafe
Chapel Café is situated in Bishop Street Methodist Church, 10a Bishop Street, Town Hall Square, Leicester, LE1 6AF.
It’s in the city centre, a short walk from the Clocktower.
Although Vista aren’t able to offer transport, we can advise on options and assist you in getting the information you need.
Transport Options
Dial-a-ride
Leicester Dial-a-Ride provides accessible transport for people, collecting City Council residents and taking them to the City Centre. The drop off points are Highcross Shopmobility or Haymarket Shopmobility, both are about 10 minutes walk from the café. On Thursdays this service will provide transport for residents in the following areas: Braunstone, Enderby, Narborough, Glenfield, New Parks, Stocking Farm, Abbey Lane Area, Beaumont Leys, Mowmacre, and Birstall.

Train and bus travel
Chapel Café, is about a 10 minute walk from Leicester Train Station, or there is a taxi pick up and drop off point to the front of the station.
With the café being so central it will be accessible from most bus routes. For support in finding out where to get off, please contact Vanisha.
