Quiz competition in aid of Vista

Local quiz compiler Richard Angrave has launched a quiz competition in order to raise vital funds for us.

He said “I am aiming to raise over £1,000 for Vista, as they provided support for my father who was registered blind for the last two years of his life.

Vista helped my father to maintain his independence, providing equipment and technology to assist with daily living.

My mother also took part in voluntary work, either working in the office or recording talking newspapers. So in memory of both my parents, I have set myself this fundraising target.”

“I have raised over £100,000 for various charities so far by hosting quizzes, and I hope to achieve my £1,000 goal with the help of the public. This is my first fundraiser for Vista - the money raised will make a huge difference to the lives of local people with sight loss.”
