Vista members teeing off with golf coaching

Last month we asked two of our members, Chris Hammond and Pardy Gill to take part in a golfing session led by legendary golfing coach Anders Mankert. Anders is a Swedish golf pro who recently open a driving range at the Leicester Oadby Golf Course where he teaches people with Visual Impairment how to play golf. Joined at the range by BBC Radio Leicester’s Jimmy Carpenter, the pair truly hit the ground running and it wasn’t long before they were driving the ball 90 yards.

a few weeks and we were the first to take the opportunity.
