Vista providing job offers within 48 hours to carers

Want a job by the end of the week? Vista will be hosting a jobs fair on Wednesday 21 June, 11 – 7pm.

The event offers a drop-in service as well as appointments, where the public can find out more about working in our residential homes for people with sight loss.

Completing the online registration form will mean an interview on the day, with a decision made in 48 hours (subject to references and checks).

The public can meet our passionate staff, who will be sharing their experiences of working in care. This includes the basics of supporting someone with a visual impairment, older people with dementia, and adults with learning disabilities.

There will also be information about working for Vista, including on-the-job training courses, employee benefits and more.

Nim Rajagopalan, Human Resources Director, said “This is our second job fair, following the fantastic success of the first event, with many new recruits. The fair will give people the chance to learn about working life in our homes.”

“We’re encouraging anyone who is interested in a career in care to book a place – they will be interviewed on the day, with a decision made within 48 hours.”

The event is taking place at Voluntary Action Leicestershire, 9 Newarke Street in Leicester.
