Vista's Children and Young People's Summer

Vista's community room is filled with families taking part in a music workshop. There are tambourines, drums and maracas being used.

Summer 24 Reflection
We have had a glorious summer with lots of you joining in with our CYP activities. In total we ran 17 activities over five weeks, giving our Vista CYP and their families some wonderful new opportunities and experiences.

What did we do?
We started with climbing 4-meter walls, then we cooked delicious cakes and met animals at the farm.
We sang and conquered tongue twisters, played football and scored goals.
We re-discovered and explored the sensory room at Simmins Crescent.
We made a joyful noise at Vista Head office with drumming, then explored the Leicester botanical gardens, creating our own amazing sculptures.
Finally, we had a grand day out at Leicester Outdoor Pursuits where we climbed, abseiled, made fires, built dens, rowed boats, and then ended with a big splash into the river!

Thanks to all who joined us!

Sunflower competition

Do you remember we set up a sunflower competition in spring? How are your flowers growing?

We would love to see some pictures of your flowers to display in our community space at Vista's Head Office.
